Interlibrary loans (ILL)

This service is available to all registered users. Requests for documents (books or photocopies) can be made at the ILL office or online via form. The time taken to obtain documents and the method of consultation (home loan or on-site consultation) depend on the lending library.

See the ILL explanatory charter for all the rates and useful information on how to check in a document.

Requesting a discharge

If you are leaving the UG and wish to enrol at another university, please go to the library with your student card to collect your receipt certifying that you have returned all the books you borrowed.

Please note: The procedure is definitive. You will no longer be able to borrow any documents once you have received your discharge.

Working at the BU

Access to the library is reserved for university students and external readers. The library provides computers and software that can be accessed upon identification.

To set up the access codes that you will use to open the library workstations (as well as those installed in the other buildings on campus), access the Wifi and consult databases remotely, you need to initialise your digital account.

Register on the following website: http://chamot.univ-guyane.fr using your INE number. This operation can be carried out from campus computers or from a terminal outside the University.

Reserve the group work room

Two work rooms are available for students wishing to work in groups, by prior arrangement with the reception desk: one on the ground floor for undergraduates, and one on the first floor for masters and doctoral students.

Please respect the settlement use of group work rooms.

Reproduce a document

Photocopiers/printers linked to the library computers are available on each level of the library.
You can buy a card to pay for your printing and photocopying. A top-up machine is available on the ground floor, which accepts cash only.

To find out about the rates and terms and conditions for using the photocopiers and printers, download theuser guide.
