This event, which was held at the university, was aimed at training managers and teacher trainers.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<p>Its aim? To collectively reflect on the challenges of inclusion and test new teaching approaches adapted to the unique context of French Guyana.<\/p>\n<h3>An inclusive strategy at the heart of the University of Guyana<\/h3>\n<p>Inclusion is a priority for the University of Guyana, and is part of its 2024-2027 strategic plan. The institution is therefore developing a training policy in line with the needs of the region. It is also strengthening student support and encouraging skills development.<\/p>\n<p>The ADUG project, supported by France 2030, is a prime example of this ambitious approach.<\/p>\n<h3>Diversity and Universal Design for Learning<\/h3>\n<p>The first part of the seminar laid the theoretical foundations. A participatory activity on the notion of diversity launched the discussions. Participants then discovered the neuroscientific and pedagogical foundations of Universal Design for Learning (UDL).<\/p>\n<p>This approach aims to remove barriers to learning right from the design stage. It promotes environments that are accessible to all, without distinction.<\/p>\n<h3>Incluedo: edutainment in action<\/h3>\n<p>The highlight of the day was the Incluedo workshop, which immersed participants in a fictitious university environment. Inspired by the games Cluedo and Dixit, this fun workshop invited participants to take on the role of a teacher with specific educational values.<\/p>\n<p>Divided into teams and guided by \u00abgame masters\u00bb, the participants designed their own educational universe. They then took on challenges and planned sessions based on AUC principles.<\/p>\n<p>This experience highlighted the advantages of edutainment: learning while having fun, stimulating creativity and experimenting with inclusive practices in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n<h3>A forward-looking seminar<\/h3>\n<p>The seminar concluded with a convivial snack. Above all, it was seen as a genuine forum for dialogue, experimentation and educational innovation. The participants plan to meet again in six months' time to assess the impact of these new practices on their training courses.<\/p>\n<p>With this initiative, the University of Guyana is putting into practice axis 2 of its strategic plan: adapting training to local realities, supporting students and encouraging the development of high-level skills.<\/p>\n<p>This seminar demonstrates the
