The University of Guyana launches its\u00a0\u00abCall for thesis topics 2026\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0as part of its policy to support doctoral research. This call is aimed at laboratories wishing to propose thesis topics in line with the scientific priorities of French Guiana.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
\n\t

Objectives of the call for projects<\/h3>\n

The aim of this call for proposals is to strengthen the local roots of research carried out in French Guiana, by supporting thesis projects led by\u00a0research units<\/a>\u00a0research. The aim is to encourage the emergence of innovative, structuring subjects that fit in with the major research themes supported by the\u2019University<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The scheme also aims to guarantee high-quality supervision for doctoral students and to promote scientific skills locally, nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n

The Doctoral School of the University of Guyana proposes, for the academic year 2026, the following thesis subjects validated by the ED Council.<\/h4>\n

Thesis topic no. 1: Chemical and biological variability of different Awaras (Astrocaryum vulgare) from French Guiana with a view to their use in the agri-food industry.<\/p>\n
