A cargo de M\u00f3nika Krajcsoszki, esta presentaci\u00f3n arrojar\u00e1 luz sobre las fascinantes facetas de este periodo poco explorado. Cita el mi\u00e9rcoles <strong>10 de abril de 2024 a las 18.00 horas.<\/strong> en la Salle Lo\u00efc Daniel (F212) de la DFR LSH (B\u00e2t. F) de la UG (Troubiran). Tras el cierre de la colonia penal en los a\u00f1os 40, la Guayana Francesa se enfrent\u00f3 a una escasez de mano de obra. El objetivo de los nuevos dirigentes pol\u00edticos tras la departamentalizaci\u00f3n era promover el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y social, para lo cual era esencial el crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico, y hab\u00eda que fomentar la inmigraci\u00f3n de una forma u otra. En este contexto, el gobierno franc\u00e9s se orienta hacia los desplazados de Europa del Este y firma un acuerdo especial con la Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional de Refugiados (OIR) el 21 de abril de 1949.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Preve\u00eda la inmigraci\u00f3n de cien familias de refugiados a la Guayana Francesa. El reclutamiento tuvo lugar principalmente en la zona de ocupaci\u00f3n francesa en Alemania.  El primer convoy lleg\u00f3 a la Guayana Francesa en julio de 1949. Le siguieron otros hasta mediados de 1951. El objetivo era crear un nuevo centro basado en la infraestructura existente de la clausurada colonia penal de Saint-Jean. En total llegaron 207 inmigrantes: 78 hombres, 68 mujeres y 61 ni\u00f1os. La mayor\u00eda eran h\u00fangaros y polacos, pero tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda checos, rumanos, un griego, un let\u00f3n y dos ap\u00e1tridas. La organizaci\u00f3n encargada de este proyecto, el BIPIG (Bureau d'Installation des Personnes Immigr\u00e9es en Guyane), no se cre\u00f3 hasta febrero de 1950. Parece que muchas personas abandonaron el centro de Saint-Jean con bastante rapidez. La BIPIG se disolvi\u00f3 en 1958.  Comprobando y actualizando los archivos recogidos, 56 h\u00fangaros figuran ya por su nombre entre las personas desplazadas. \u00bfC\u00f3mo reconstruir sus vidas para comprender lo que vivieron? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 huyeron estos h\u00fangaros de su pa\u00eds tras la guerra? \u00bfFue la Guayana Francesa una simple escala en el camino hacia otros destinos? \u00bfCu\u00e1les fueron las razones del r\u00e1pido fracaso de este programa de asentamiento?
