Soy maestro de escuela y ense\u00f1o en Haut Maroni, en la comuna de Grand Santi. Este a\u00f1o he empezado mi nuevo curso escolar como director de la escuela primaria del pueblo de Apagui. Es una escuela que puede acoger a no menos de 200 ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Su empresa<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>\u00bfPuede hablarnos de su trabajo? \u00bfEn qu\u00e9 consiste?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Empec\u00e9 como profesora en pr\u00e1cticas en septiembre de 2018, y al a\u00f1o siguiente me convert\u00ed en profesora permanente en la escuela primaria de Apagui, en la comuna de Grand Santi. Como profesor de primaria, puedes tener que impartir clases desde infantil hasta CM2. Transmitimos conocimientos y competencias a los alumnos, al tiempo que les inculcamos los valores de la ciudadan\u00eda de la Rep\u00fablica. Es un trabajo que requiere paciencia, porque a menudo tenemos que repetirnos. Seg\u00fan d\u00f3nde trabajemos, tenemos que ser muy adaptables y pedag\u00f3gicos. Mi misi\u00f3n principal es ense\u00f1ar y permitir que los alumnos aprendan y adquieran competencias.<\/p>\n<p>Mi trabajo como director es diferente. Se trata de hacer de intermediario entre los profesores y la instituci\u00f3n a la que servimos, el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n. Mis funciones son distintas de las de un profesor: tengo que informar, transmitir informaci\u00f3n y alertar a mis superiores de cualquier problema. Soy un \"canal\" entre la instituci\u00f3n y el personal en funciones (profesores).<br \/>\nTambi\u00e9n me encargo de apoyar a los compa\u00f1eros y de hablar con los padres.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00bfQu\u00e9 le gusta de su trabajo?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cuando era m\u00e1s joven, nunca me imagin\u00e9 como profesora. Descubr\u00ed esta profesi\u00f3n durante mis estudios en la Universidad de Guyana. Lo que me gusta de este trabajo es la cercan\u00eda y el v\u00ednculo que podemos crear con los alumnos. Adem\u00e1s, la transmisi\u00f3n de conocimientos y el \u00e9xito de los alumnos son puntos importantes que nos permiten ver la belleza de nuestra profesi\u00f3n. El \u00e9xito y los logros de mis alumnos son una victoria para m\u00ed. Demuestra la enorme capacidad que tienen los ni\u00f1os para aprender, y contribuye a formar a los ciudadanos del ma\u00f1ana.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Sus cursos de formaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>H\u00e1blenos de su formaci\u00f3n. \u00bfQu\u00e9 curso sigui\u00f3?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>En primer lugar, obtuve un Bachillerato general en la serie Cient\u00edfica, luego prob\u00e9 el PACES. A continuaci\u00f3n hice una licenciatura en Biolog\u00eda-Bioqu\u00edmica-Biotecnolog\u00eda. Al final de la licenciatura, me present\u00e9 a varios m\u00e1steres y me seleccionaron para un m\u00e1ster en ense\u00f1anza. Durante el primer a\u00f1o, s\u00f3lo tuve que hacer los cursos y el examen de oposici\u00f3n CRPE para maestros de escuela. Aprob\u00e9 y me admitieron en el M\u00e1ster 2 como profesor en pr\u00e1cticas.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00bfQu\u00e9 ha aprendido en los cursos de formaci\u00f3n?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Al principio no me result\u00f3 f\u00e1cil. Como nunca hab\u00eda dado clases, me cost\u00f3 transmitir conceptos y adoptar la postura de un \"maestro\". Sin embargo, pude contar con el apoyo de varios profesores del m\u00e1ster y de compa\u00f1eros de estudios, que me ayudaron a conseguir la titularidad.<br \/>\nDurante mi M\u00e1ster 2, tuve la suerte de participar en la Misi\u00f3n R\u00edo Maroni. Gracias a ello, descubr\u00ed muchos lugares y varias escuelas en el Maroni, desde Providence hasta Ant\u00e9cume-Pata. A la hora de elegir un destino, eleg\u00ed naturalmente la escuela primaria de Apagui.
