Het jaar 2024 betekende een keerpunt voor de afdeling International, Research, Development and Doctoral Studies (DIRVED) en AIBSI, met een uitzonderlijke dynamiek die werd aangedreven door innovatieve projecten, versterkte samenwerkingsverbanden en mijlpaalevenementen.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
\n\t

Belangrijke vooruitgang bij DIRVED<\/h3>\n

De DIRVED blijft zich inzetten voor de ondersteuning van onderzoeks- en innovatieprojecten aan de Universiteit van Guyana. Met 15 ingediende projecten (waarvan 12 EFRO, 2 ANR en 1 Horizon Europe) werden 6 projecten geselecteerd, wat de geloofwaardigheid en de impact van lokale initiatieven versterkt, dankzij de strategische steun van de DIRVED.
\nOp internationaal vlak heeft het Bureau voor Internationale Betrekkingen (BRI) strategische overeenkomsten gesloten met Guyana en Canada, wat nieuwe perspectieven opent voor onderzoek en academische uitwisseling. De toename in inkomende mobiliteit weerspiegelt ook de groeiende internationale invloed van de Universiteit van Guyana.<\/p>\n

AIBSI: Initiatieven die een impact hebben<\/h3>\n

Het AIBSI-programma stond centraal bij verschillende grote evenementen en bevestigde daarmee zijn rol als belangrijke speler op het gebied van innovatie en duurzame ontwikkeling:
\n- Het eerste Carbet Business Dating (CBD) evenement<\/strong>het samenbrengen van wetenschappers en sociaaleconomische spelers om samenwerking te bevorderen.
\n- Een tweede CBD, gewijd aan de Dag van het Duurzaam Voedsel<\/strong>waarin innovatieve projecten op basis van de transformatie van lokale hulpbronnen werden belicht.
\n- De Big'Inn-competitie,<\/strong> georganiseerd in samenwerking met CIBIG en de OFB, ter bevordering van de ondernemersgeest in Guyana.
\n- Mijn scriptie in 180 seconden<\/strong>waar promovendi op briljante wijze hun onderzoek toelichtten.
\nDaarnaast heeft de ontvangst van de CISAM-delegatie door DIRVED de internationale wetenschappelijke uitwisselingen versterkt, wat de openheid van de universiteit naar de wereld onderstreept.<\/p>\n

Naar een ambitieuze strategie voor 2025<\/h3>\n

Deze acties maken deel uit van een strategische visie die gericht is op het consolideren van wat is bereikt en op het verbeteren van het profiel van onderzoekers. Tegelijkertijd zijn er aanzienlijke inspanningen geleverd om teams te ondersteunen door middel van innovatieve trainingsprogramma's, zoals de communicatie- en marketingworkshop die eind 2024 werd gehouden.
\n2024 was een jaar van innovatie en samenwerking. Met een rijke balans en ambitieuze vooruitzichten kijken DIRVED en AIBSI vastberaden uit naar 2025 om hun werk ten dienste van onderzoek en innovatie in Frans-Guyana voort te
