Kom van 17.30 tot 22.00 uur naar Bar Coco Soda (route de Montabo) voor een buitengewone wetenschappelijke ervaring vol ontdekkingen, uitwisselingen en humor!<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<h2>Wat is de Pint of Science?<\/h2>\n<p>Het concept is eenvoudig: breng wetenschap naar de bar en maak het toegankelijk voor iedereen. Er zijn geen witte jassen of technisch jargon nodig: hier praten onderzoekers met het publiek in een ontspannen, interactieve sfeer.<br \/>\nDe Pint of Science Guyane 2025 is ook een moment om te socializen en elkaar te leren kennen. Na de presentaties kun je verder praten met de sprekers onder het genot van een drankje in de warme sfeer van de Coco Soda Bar. Of je nu student bent, natuurliefhebber, wetenschapliefhebber, nieuwsgierig of gewoon van gezelligheid houdt, dit is de avond voor jou!<\/p>\n<h2>Onderwerpen op het programma<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Kunst en materiaal: tussen traditionele knowhow en de mechanische eigenschappen van palmbomen<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>door Paul Cathelineau (promovendus, UMR ECOFOG)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Onderzoek het verband tussen voorouderlijke knowhow en de mechanische eigenschappen van palmbomen door middel van experimentele archeologie. Waarom gaven precolumbiaanse samenlevingen de voorkeur aan bepaalde soorten voor het mandenvlechten? Een fascinerende reis door biomechanica en traditie.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Palmen, voedings- en biochemische schatten<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>door Didier B\u00e9reau (docent-onderzoeker, UR COVAPAM)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ontdek de deugden van wassaye (Euterpe oleracea), een palmvrucht met uitzonderlijke antioxiderende eigenschappen die nu over de hele wereld wordt begeerd.
