Ze nodigde de studenten van de eerste klas uit om kritisch na te denken en juridische instrumenten te gebruiken om de maatschappij te begrijpen, in vraag te stellen en te transformeren.<\/p>\n<p>Ze gebruikte de voorbeelden van de Code Noir - van toepassing in Frans Guyana vanaf 1704 - om een uitzondering op de wet te illustreren, evenals het landrecht in Frans Guyana, dat aanzienlijk verschilt van het recht dat in andere Franse regio's van kracht is. Volgens haar belichamen deze voorbeelden de complexiteit van het recht en het belang om nooit de historische, sociale en culturele realiteit waarin het is ingebed uit het oog te verliezen.<\/p>\n<p>De minister ging in op de belangrijkste hedendaagse kwesties en opende een aantal denkpistes voor toekomstige juristen: de plaats van het internationaal recht in mondiale problemen (de Westfalenverdragen, internationale ethiek, transnationale misdaad, enz.), de verschillen tussen common law en continentale rechtsstelsels, de urgentie van milieurechten in de context van de voorbereidingen voor COP30 in het Amazonegebied en de rol van de sociale economie in moderne democratie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<p>De oprichting van het IEJ in Frans-Guyana betekent een belangrijke stap voorwaarts voor het hoger onderwijs en de opleiding van juridische professionals in de regio. Het laat ook zien dat de Universiteit van Frans-Guyana vastbesloten is om een volwaardige bijdrage te leveren aan maatschappelijke debatten door jonge mensen op te leiden die verlicht, betrokken en
