Dit innovatieve onderzoeksplatform is gevestigd in het Institut Pasteur in Cayenne. Het wordt gezamenlijk ondersteund door het CNRS, het IRD en de Universiteit van Guyana.<\/p>\n<p>Dit project belichaamt een sterke ambitie. Het versterkt de wetenschappelijke en technologische samenwerking in Guyana. Het positioneert de regio ook als een belangrijke speler op het gebied van biodiversiteitsonderzoek.<\/p>\n<h3>Sterke institutionele betrokkenheid<\/h3>\n<p>Het evenement werd bijgewoond door een groot aantal institutionele spelers. Onder hen waren de prefect, Antoine Poussier, en de rector van de onderwijsautoriteit van Frans Guyana, Guillaume Gelle. Vertegenwoordigers van het CTG en de onderzoekswereld waren ook aanwezig.<\/p>\n<p>Martine S\u00e9b\u00e9lou\u00e9, voorlopig bestuurder van de Universiteit van Guyana, onderstreepte het strategische belang van deze infrastructuur. Ze benadrukte het belang van wetenschappelijke autonomie voor de regio.<\/p>\n<h3>Investeren in lokaal onderzoek<\/h3>\n<p>GUYOMIQUE ontving \u20ac600.000 aan financiering van het EFRO.
