Dit idee kwam bij hen op nadat het behalen van het Universitair Diploma in Regionale Talen en Culturen - DU LCR - en een reis naar Afrika, hen bewust maakte van het belang van culturele identiteit, wat een rijk erfgoed is.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<p><span class=\"nectar-dropcap\" >E <\/span>n feite manifesteert deze culturele identiteit zich vooral in de lokale literatuur, vandaar de inspiratie van deze jonge mensen om echte ambassadeurs van het Guyanese theater te worden.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018 behaalden ze, parallel aan de DU, een bachelordiploma in moderne literatuur, waarin ze de grote Europese toneelschrijvers diachroon bestudeerden, essenti\u00eble referentiepunten voor burgerschapsvorming en het verwerven van een gemeenschappelijke cultuur. Hun theatrale werken zijn naar schoolkinderen gebracht door de keuze van scholen, en naar het grote publiek door live optredens.<\/p>\n<p>Via lokaal theater delen ATEG-studenten dezelfde ambitie voor de Guyanese cultuur.<\/p>\n<p>Vandaag de dag heeft ATEG meer dan 20 leden, waaronder regisseurs, docenten en acteurs, die elke woensdag van 12.00 tot 14.00 uur in zaal 302 van de ESPE aanwezig zijn om hun repetities te laten zien.<\/p>\n<p>De afgelopen zeven maanden hebben deze jongeren getraind op het nieuwe toneelstuk van het jaar \"\u00a0<strong><u>De reizigers<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0\"van de grote Guyanese toneelschrijver \u00c9lie STEPHENSON.<\/p>\n<p>De theatervoorstelling wordt opgevoerd door studenten van<strong>\u00a0de vereniging in de Resto U, op vrijdag 03 mei 2019 om 12
