Dit werk is uitgegeven in twee delen door Editions Hermann en de teksten zijn samengesteld, gepresenteerd en geannoteerd door Martijn van den Bel en G\u00e9rard Collomb.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t<p><span class=\"nectar-dropcap\" >L' <\/span>Het boek is gepubliceerd met steun van de Collectivit\u00e9 territoriale de Guyane en de Aimara vereniging, met bijdragen van Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Blanchard, William Jennings, Yannick Le Roux, Odile Lescure, Christophe Maneuvrier en Jean-Marc Popineau. De boeken zijn te koop in samenwerking met boekhandel Casa Bulles en de avond wordt afgesloten met een signeersessie door Martijn van den Bel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Het doel van deze verzameling originele teksten is om bij te dragen aan een beter begrip van de geschiedenis van Frans Guyana - en in het bijzonder de periode van Europese vestiging op wat toen bekend stond als de \"C\u00f4te sauvage\" gedurende de 17e eeuw. Het boek begint halverwege de jaren 1620, toen de eerste expedities werden georganiseerd om kolonies te stichten op het eiland Cayenne, op de Oyapock en op de Sinnamary. Het eindigt aan het einde van de zeventiende eeuw, wanneer de kolonie op volle toeren draait: de landbouwproductie ontwikkelt zich in de woningen waar de Afrikaanse slaven werken en de jezu\u00eftische missionarissen zijn begonnen met het veroveren van de zielen van de inboorlingen. Veel van deze teksten, gepresenteerd in twee delen en voorafgegaan door een gedetailleerde chronologie, zijn nog niet eerder gepubliceerd. Gebaseerd op de originele handgeschreven of gepubliceerde tekst, gaat elke tekst vergezeld van een inleiding en een reeks aantekeningen die de lezer in staat stellen de tekst in zijn historische, culturele en sociale context te plaatsen, waardoor deze gemakkelijker te begrijpen en te gebruiken is, met name voor docenten en onderzoekers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ug_container-yellow\"><strong>Een paar woorden over de auteurs<br \/>\n<\/strong>G\u00e9rard Collomb is antropoloog en onderzoeker bij het IIAC (EHESS-CNRS) en is ge\u00efnteresseerd in de geschiedenis, identiteitsconstructie en sociale organisatie van de indianen van Frans Guyana en Suriname.Martijn van den Bel is archeoloog bij het INRAP in Frans Guyana en is ge\u00efnteresseerd in precolumbiaanse archeologie en de oude geschiedenis van Frans Guyana en het Guyana Plateau.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"In samenwerking met het
