Once your university course has been validated, you can collect your diploma from the University of Guyana. Here are the different ways in which you can collect your diploma, either face-to-face or by distance learning
Withdrawal in person
You can collect your diploma from your component's Registrar's Office, but you will need to bring valid identification with you. If you are unable to collect your diploma in person, you can appoint someone you trust to collect it for you. This person must provide the following documents:
- A power of attorney signed by you
- A photocopy of your valid identity document
- Your own valid identity document
Remote withdrawal
(Only for students from outside the department)
If you are unable to collect your diploma on campus, you can request that it be sent to you by post. To do this, you need to send a request to the Registrar's Office, enclosing the following documents:
- Fill in the application form
- A copy of your valid ID
- Proof of address or proof of accommodation
Withdrawal abroad
If you live abroad, you can ask the French Embassy or Consulate to send you a copy. To do this, you will need to send a request to the Registrar's Office, enclosing the following documents:
- Fill in the submission form
- A copy of your valid ID
- Proof of address or proof of accommodation
