Discovered the University of Guyana during its Open Day 7 February !
C reated by ministerial decree in 1986, at the request of the CNES, the Kourou University Institute of Technology (IUT) opened its first department (GEII) in 1988. The Kourou IUT offers excellent short, vocational courses at university level. These vocational courses, which are immediately adapted to the local employment structure and labour market, also enable students to continue their studies at the Grandes Ecoles (engineering, business, etc.) and LMD (Licence Master Doctorat). To date, the IUT has almost 200 students on two sites, in 7 courses (4 DUTs and 3 professional degrees at the start of the 2015 academic year).
