Dn the context of specialised training in health, safety and working conditions, the prevention network plays an essential role in advising the Chairman and heads of department. It assists them in assessing occupational risks and implementing a prevention policy, as well as in applying health and safety rules in the workplace. Its role is to :

  • Prevent hazards that could compromise the health or safety of staff ;
  • Improve working conditions and methods by adapting them to employees' physical abilities;
  • Develop knowledge of security issues and the techniques for resolving them;
  • Ensuring that the occupational health and safety register is rigorously maintained in all departments.

Tasks of prevention network agents

The members of the prevention network are actively involved in :

  • Proposing concrete measures to improve occupational risk prevention;
  • Participating, in collaboration with the other players, in raising awareness, informing and training staff on health and safety issues in the workplace.

Role of the prevention advisor and assistants

Le prevention advisor coordinates the entire occupational health and safety prevention network.

The prevention assistantsThey are placed under the supervision of the heads of department, who appoint them. Their role is to provide day-to-day monitoring and ensure that preventive measures are applied in the units. These officers receive compulsory initial training before they take up their duties, as well as continuing education to enhance their occupational health and safety skills.
