The third campaign of the Fonds de Solidarité et de Développement des Initiatives Étudiantes (FSDIE) for 2023/2024 has been launched! The FSDIE is primarily used to finance student projects on and off campus.
A aided by part of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), the FSDIE is a financial lever designed to support collective projects for the benefit of the student community, both on and off campus.
Call for FSDIE Projects (AAP)
Do you have an innovative, voluntary idea that could make student life more dynamic? The FSDIE AAP is open to projects in the cultural, sporting, social, health and disability, educational, civic, environmental or humanitarian fields. They may also involve training students in the various areas of student representation and community life. Eligibility criteria focus on projects that help to improve the university's image and appeal, that liven up the campus and that reach as many students as possible. This is an ideal opportunity to put your ideas into practice and play an active part in enriching university life.
Call for FSDIE Ideas (AAI)
This call for ideas seeks to fund innovative projects that will directly benefit students at the University of Guyana. The eligibility criteria emphasise that projects must be led by students, staff or entities affiliated to the university. They must respect the university's statutes and missions, comply with current legislation and, above all, be accessible to as many people as possible. We strongly encourage you to include environmental and social considerations in your proposals. By taking part in the FSDIE 2023/2024 campaign, you are not only helping to make your university more dynamic, but also promoting innovation and solidarity within the student community.
