D s part of the CVEC, the programming committee for the use of the CVEC wishes to finance projects for students enrolled at the University of Guyana, and whatever the project leader (student association, component, administrative services, research organisation, etc.).
4 priority areas for action have been defined by the CVEC committee, in the form of calls for ideas on the following themes: health, culture, sport and welcoming students.
Projects submitted must be of general interesthighlighting innovative actions aimed at students at the University of Guyana.
Eligibility criteria
- Projects must be submitted by a student or a group of students who must be registered at the University of French Guyana, by a member of staff or a group of members of staff, or by a structure (management, service, etc.) attached to the University of French Guyana.
- Proposals must :
- Respect the statutes of the University of Guyana
- Falling within the remit and missions of the University of Guyana
- Comply with current legislation
- Be accessible to as many students as possible
- An environmental and societal dimension will be particularly appreciated
- The application must be complete
- The technical, legal and financial feasibility of the projects will be assessed by the relevant departments at the University of Guyana.
Rejection criteria
The following projects will not be examined:
- Projects eligible for the FSDIE ;
- Projects that do not respect the principles and values on which the French University and the UG's 'community life' are based: tolerance, objectivity, non-discrimination, independence from any political, philosophical or religious influence, etc;
- Requests relating to training, studies and teaching (promotion of the range of courses on offer, purchase of teaching materials, printing of courses, publication of brochures, job placement or internship search forums, etc.);
- Requests for the organisation of events relating exclusively to research;
- Tutored projects (part of the course of study) included in the syllabus;
- Travel expenses for studies ;
- Projects relating to the traditional activities of the university's training and research components and services.
Each application must include a detailed provisional budget showing the amount of the grant application under revenue. The contribution of any external partners should also be highlighted.
Timetable and procedure
Launch of the AAI: 21 September 2020. Closing date: 21 October 2020. The project leader will be invited, where appropriate, to present the project to the members of the committee.
