Concours « Ma thèse en 180 secondes » – 4ème édition

The Guyana regional final of the Ma Thèse en 180 secondes competition will take place on Thursday 29 March 2018 at 9am, building F on the Troubiran campus.

For this year's event, the University of Guyana is continuing its partnership with the CNRS and the GIS IRISTA, and is supported by the Canopée des Sciences.

The MT180S challenge

Summing up years of work in a 3-minute presentation is the challenge set by My Thesis in 180 Seconds. The doctoral students taking part will have to meet the challenge of presenting their research in 180 seconds, and not one second more.

Thesis topic: Characterisation of the microbial communities used to induce the defence mechanisms of Aquilaria crassna Pierre ex Lecomte for the production of oleoresin and high quality essential oils from contaminated wood (or agarwood). Histological, metagenomic and transcriptomic approaches.
