Are you a student at the University of Guyana? You can obtain social aid or financial aid for a project of collective interest, through the Fonds de solidarité et de développement des initiatives étudiantes (FSDIE).
The CVEC was introduced by Law 2018-166 on Student Orientation and Success of 8 March 2018, which created "a contribution intended to promote the reception and social, health, cultural and sporting support of students and to support the preventive and health education actions carried out for them". With the introduction of the Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC), the FSDIE has been strengthened and social assistance extended.
What is the FSDIE?
