Acadiscri : enquête nationale sur les discriminations à l'université et dans la recherche

Because an effective equality policy requires a clear understanding of the situations that need to be remedied, the University of Guyana wanted to take part in the ACADISCRI survey. This nationwide survey on inequalities at university and in the research sector will enable us to draw up an inventory of the inequalities experienced by students and staff, with a view to improving measures in this area. Data will be collected from 27 April to the end of June 2022.

Supported by a consortium of scientists from several institutions (University of Paris-Nanterre, Côte d'Azur Universitythe CRISIS sociological research cooperative) and supported by the Human rights defenderThis survey looks at all forms of discrimination and how they intersect (gender, ethnicity, social class, disability). Students and staff will be able to name and describe these specific situations, as the survey is very detailed. It is also up to our community to realise that they have the power to act. Discrimination is undervalued and any problems that do arise must be brought to light. At the end of the survey, the scientists undertake to produce a report containing the results.

How can I take part in the survey?
Students and staff receive an initial e-mail from the following address acadiscri@liste.parisnanterre.fr and can complete the survey, in several stages if necessary (it is possible to save your questionnaire while filling it in and then come back to complete it later), until the end of the collection period. The questionnaire is anonymous and takes between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.. All the necessary guarantees concerning the processing of data have been taken (opinion of the CNIL and the Inserm Ethics Committee); theUniversity of Guyana will have no knowledge of individual responses in order to preserve the anonymity of respondents.

When should you take part in the survey?
The collection period will run from 27 April to 30 June 2022.
