A delegation made up of six students, the President of the Academic Council and the head of the Masters in Management and Business Administration (MAE) attended the graduation ceremony for the first graduates of Guyana's MAE Masters at Paris 1 (Sorbonne University) on Friday 1 July 2022 at 6.30pm (Paris time).

L he first graduation ceremony for the MAE Masters in French Guiana 2020-2021 took place on Friday 1 July in the large amphitheatre of the Sorbonne (rue des écoles). The eight graduates of this first class, six of whom were present, were honoured in the presence of Maria LONY, President of the Academic Council of the University of French Guiana, Koulani REZAIRE, Head of the Masters in Business Administration in French Guiana, and Eric LAMARQUE, Director of IAE Paris and President of the IAE France Network.

Thanks to this partnership, all students, whether graduates or not, are currently employed and will be integrated into the IAE Paris alumni network.

High-quality collaboration for a sector of excellence

Opening in October 2019, the Master's in Management and Business Administration from the Instituts d'Administration des Entreprises (IAE France) provides a second management skill for higher education graduates: engineers, architects, veterinary surgeons, lawyers, etc.

This offshore degree in French Guiana is in partnership with IAE La Rochelle University, IAE Paris 1 Business School Panthéon Sorbonne and the Collectivité Territoriale de la Guyane. These three establishments have decided to join forces to develop a programme of excellence in management sciences. Graduates of the Master 2 programme are awarded the MAE General Management degree.

Offered in both traditional and sandwich courses, the courses are taught in a blended learning format (e-learning + 1 week of face-to-face classes). This Master's degree provides a dual curriculum to facilitate access to positions that require a strategic vision of the company and its organisation, and a wider range of options in one's professional life.
