Première participation de l’université de Guyane aux Erasmus Days.

The International Relations Office organised Erasmus Days for the first time at the University of Guyana. The event took place on 13 and 14 October 2022 on the Troubiran campus.

L #ErasmusDays is a 3-day international event celebrating the Erasmus+ programme and European citizenship on every continent. For this 2022 edition, no fewer than 6,000 events have been organised in France and around the world by organisations holding the Erasmus+ Charter.

To mark the occasion, the International Relations Office, in partnership with the Rectorat de l'académie de Guyane and the Peupl'En Harmonie association, organised a series of meetings and competitions on 13 and 14 October 2022. Hundreds of people took part over the two days. International mobility is attractive. That's why the university community was able to take part in the various activities and competitions organised to promote international exchange projects and opportunities to students and staff at the university and beyond.

A highlight for the university community.

This was a very successful event for the UG community. Thanks to information stands and foreign language games, the public was able to find out about the different forms of mobility and the assistance available. The public was also able to find out more about the many Erasmus+ projects carried out and offered at the university. Thanks to its international outlook, the University of Guyana enables its students and staff to take part in exchanges around the world via its network of partner universities. To this end, a mobility café was organised. It was an opportunity for students, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff who have already taken part in the Erasmus programme to share their experiences in a convivial atmosphere.
