The Salon des Maires 2025, designed as a forum for reflection and innovation, will highlight the challenges to be met and the opportunities to be seized in building an ambitious Guyana for 2050 - combining ecological responsibility, economic dynamism and social cohesion.
Two flagship projects to discover:
AIBSI (Amazonian Institute of Biodiversity and Sustainable Innovation)
Launched in 2023, AIBSI is designed to become a major player in Amazonia in the fields of biodiversity and sustainable innovation. The project, which won the «Excellence in all its forms» call for projects funded by the French National Research Agency, is structured around three priorities:
- Sustainable food
- Global health
- Sustainable construction
ADUG (Acceleration of the Development of the University of Guyana)
The ADUG project, which will run for 10 years (2023-2033), aims to make the University of French Guiana a benchmark in Amazonia. It focuses on two major areas:
- The development of continuing vocational training
- Sponsorship and fundraising
An opportunity for visitors and our partners to rediscover the University of Guyana's commitment as a key player in the heart of Amazonia.
Join us on stand 7!
We invite you to find out more about these projects and talk to our teams as soon as possible. 10h30 to share our vision of a university that serves French Guiana, the Amazon and our common future.
