On 18, 19 and 20 October 2022, as part of the university cooperation visit between Chile and French Guiana, the University of French Guiana welcomed for the first time the Rector of Bernardo O'Higgins University in Santiago de Chile, Claudio Alberto Ruff Escobar.
I his is the first scientific cooperation visit to the University of Guyana, which will be attended by the Rector of the Bernardo O'Higgins University in Santiago de Chile, Claudio Alberto Ruff Escobar, the Director of the RIELF (Revue Internationale des Économistes de Langue Française), Kryzstof Malaga, University Professor, Poznan, Poland, and the President of the AIELF (Association Internationale des Économistes de Langue Française), Alain Redslob, University Professor, Paris 2-Panthéon Assas. The aim of this initiative is to set up exchange networks between the Economics and Management stream and other study streams at the University of Guyana in the fields of economics and management, literature, languages, social sciences and natural sciences.
A rich programme
Invited first of all in his capacity as a university professor in Economics and rapporteur of a thesis, the visit by Rector Claudio Ruff Escobar was a fruitful one, enabling the first avenues of cooperation between the two institutions to be explored.
