On 17 January 2023, the University of Guyana is organising the election of the university president. The vote is carried out by the members of the Board of Directors.
Q ho can be elected?
The following are eligible to stand for election at the University: teacher-researchers, researchers, professors or lecturers, associates or guests, or any other equivalent staff, including teachers, regardless of nationality.
What's the role?
The duties of the person elected to the Presidency of the University are defined in article L712-2 of the Education Code
