L n 12 and 13 December 2023, a by-election will be held to elect people to sit on the boards of the Department of Education and Research (DFR) Health / the Department of Legal and Economic Sciences (SJE) / the Department of Literature and Humanities (LSH) / the MINEA laboratory / the IUT. A by-election will also be held to elect a representative of non-teaching staff (BIATSS) to the Board of Governors.
These elections will take place :
- in Cayenne, on the terrace of the University Restaurant (RU) from 8.30am to 3.30pm
- 12 December: for the DFR SJE, the IUT and the Board of Directors
- 13 December: for DFR LSH, DFR Santé and Laboratoire MINEA
- in Kourou, on 12 December from 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. in room KGSR001
Who can join these councils?
People elected to defend the interests of those who belong to the same group (college) as them. To be elected, you must be registered on the electoral roll and have sent in a valid application.

How do you give it away?
Apply for a numbered form by enclosing proof of identitý at the addresses identified in the contacts below. The numbered form sent by the Legal Affairs and Bodies Department must be completed and returned no later than 12.00 noon on the day before the ballot.

How do I vote?
- Proof of identitý + student card or certificate of enrolment (for students)
- Take an envelope + the ballot papers for each list or candidate
- In the polling booth, place only the ballot paper of your choice in the envelope.
- Put your envelope in the ballot box and sign the voters' list.
