The University of Guyana launches its «Call for thesis topics 2025» as part of its policy to support doctoral research. This call is aimed at laboratories wishing to propose thesis topics in line with the scientific priorities of French Guiana.
These doctoral contracts are financed every year by the Ministry, for the last 3 years by the CNES and for the last two years by the’AIBSI.
Objectives of the call for projects
The aim of this call for proposals is to strengthen the local roots of research carried out in French Guiana, by supporting thesis projects led by research units research. The aim is to encourage the emergence of innovative, structuring subjects that fit in with the major research themes supported by the’University.
The scheme also aims to guarantee high-quality supervision for doctoral students and to promote scientific skills locally, nationally and internationally.
This year the deadline for applications is 05 May 2025 at 23:59. Each candidate will be interviewed by the members of the’Doctoral School (ED) Tuesday 17 June 2025.
