A total of 281 graduates were invited to take part in the survey and 202 responded, giving a response rate of 72 %. The results below relate to the 2025 survey of 2024 graduates.

What is it all about?
This is a survey carried out by the Observatory in accordance with national standards. The 2023 questionnaire produced by SIES/DGESIP for the collection of data on graduate employment from universities was used. It was supplemented by questions regarding the respondents’ views on their qualifications.

What is the purpose of this?
The survey aims to assess the situation of graduates and analyse their future prospects six months after graduation.

Who is being interviewed?
All graduates of Master’s, vocational Bachelor’s and BUT programmes at the University of French Guiana are being surveyed.

Master

The results set out below relate to all the 2020 Master’s graduates from the University of French Guiana.

In 2024, there were 155 Master’s graduates from the University. 74.75 % say they are in employment, and 92.75 % consider their career prospects to be positive.

Professional degree

The results presented below relate to all 2020 graduates of the University of French Guiana’s Professional Bachelor’s degree programme.

In 2024, there were 92 graduates of the University of French Guiana’s vocational bachelor’s degree programme. 61.90 % state that they are in employment, and 93.11 % believe they have positive prospects for career progression.
