Nhe University of French Guiana is the youngest university in France, having been created from the split between the Pôle Universitaire des Antilles et de la Guyane. It has two campuses, Troubiran in Cayenne and Bois-Chaudat in Kourou. The university benefits from a setting where the biodiversity and cultural richness of the region combine to offer excellent teaching and research. Comprising six training and research centres, the university offers a wide range of disciplines, from humanities and social sciences to exact and natural sciences, law, economics, management and educational sciences. Thanks to strong partnerships with local, national and international institutions, the University of Guyana is committed to meeting the challenges of its territory while opening up to the world.
