- Optimising system performance by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Working on continuous improvement projects.
- Manage a maintenance team, taking account of safety, quality and environmental constraints.
Target skills
The LP MEE-MSI trains field professionals capable of implementing maintenance policy, coordinating and monitoring actions, and managing projects to improve productivity through reliability, the safe operation of facilities and the safety of operators.
Cross-disciplinary skills
- Apply the concepts of applied mathematics, applied physics, mechanics, automation and information technology to production engineering problems (industrial, energy, etc.).
- Use the different registers of written and spoken French with ease.
- Communicate orally and in writing, clearly and unambiguously, in at least one foreign language
Subject-specific skills
- Applying, referring to and/or checking the rules on the safety of goods and people, in particular those relating to electricity (NFC 18-510)
- Carry out a diagnosis and/or audit to provide advice
- Use standard industrial production techniques independently: mechanics, electricity, PLCs, local industrial networks, sensors, actuators, etc.
- Independently use current techniques in the field of computer engineering: analysis and synthesis of automation programmes
- Mobilise the theoretical and statistical tools needed to set up procedures appropriate action (analysis of indicators, FMEA and other methods)
- Mastering maintenance methods and computer-assisted tools (CMMS)
- Implementing a maintenance strategy
- Ensuring compliance of equipment, materials and installations (acceptance, tests, trials, adjustments, etc.)
