
The 6th edition of the Guyana regional final of the MT180S competition took place on Thursday 11 March 2021. Marion Boisseaux and Wilfried Denagbe were elected by the members of the jury to represent the University of Guyana in the semi-final.
For the first time, the regional final was broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the University of French Guiana and Guyane la 1.era. The members of the jury were invited to choose two winners who would represent their establishment in the semi-final, and Internet users were asked to elect one candidate to receive the People's Choice Award.
- The two Jury Prizes were awarded to Marion Boisseaux, a doctoral student at the Ecofog Joint Research Unit (UMR), under the supervision of Heidi SCHIMANN, and Wilfried DENAGBE, a doctoral student at the QUALISUD Joint Research Unit, under the supervision of Didier BEREAU and Thierry BENVEGNU.
- The Public Prize was awarded to Jérémy Macaire, a doctoral student at UMR Espace Dev, under the supervision of Laurent Linguet.
Marion Boisseaux and Wilfried Denagbe will be flying the colours of the University of Guyana at the national semi-finals, which will be held in Paris from 1 to 2 October.er to 3 April 2021 behind closed doors. Due to the health situation in mainland France, the semi-final will not be held in person. The winners will be assessed on their performance at the regional final via videos sent to them by the various universities.
