Are you a high school or university student, or simply curious to find out more about the University of French Guiana? On 7 February 2025, the University of French Guiana will be opening its doors to you on its two campuses in Cayenne (Campus Troubiran) and Kourou (Campus Bois-Chaudat).
This exceptional day is the perfect opportunity to get to the heart of university life, explore our courses and meet the people who make our community tick.
Campus Troubiran - Cayenne: a day full of discoveries!
Morning (10am - 12.30pm)
Personalised welcome : Stand in Building C with brochures, wristbands and welcome items.
Thematic workshops: Guidance, mental health and student testimonials in dedicated rooms.
Information stands: Find out more about our courses, university services and immersion opportunities.
All day (10.30am - 6pm)
Interactive tours of the campus : Departures every 40 minutes to explore our iconic sites.
Student events: Quizzes, games (hangman, memory) and student association activities.
Afternoon (2.00 pm - 6.00 pm)
Cultural and sporting activities : Board game tournaments (UNO, domino), drumming, dancing and sports activities for all.
Bois-Chaudat Campus - Kourou: Immersive workshops!
Morning (8.30am - 11.30am)
Exploring technical and service sectors
- Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing (GEII) : Robotics, energy and electronics.
- Civil Engineering and Sustainable Construction (GCCD): Construction materials, digital mock-ups and building energy.
- Réseaux et Télécoms (RT): Telecoms, networks and IT.
- Marketing Techniques (TC): Digital marketing, bioresources and artificial intelligence.
- Communication des Organisations (CS): Professional immersion and presentation of the course.
Afternoon (12.30pm - 3.30pm)
Practical demonstrations and interactive workshops: It's the ideal way to find out more about the careers our courses prepare you for.
Activities and discoveries all day long
Throughout the day, take advantage of the many activities on offer to explore the campus and discover student life:
- Interactive tours of the campus: departures every 40 minutes for a fun immersion in our emblematic spaces.
- Information stands (building E): Talk to our teams about university life and find out about immersion opportunities during the school holidays.
Interactive activities will also be taking place in dedicated areas between 10.30am and 1pm, including animated quizzes, hangman games, memory games and much more. Student associations will be on hand to liven up the day on the forecourt.
An afternoon of culture and sport
After a convivial lunch break in the cafeteria or university restaurant, join us from 2pm for cultural and interactive activities.
UNO tournaments, dominoes, drums, dances and other sports activities will set the pace for the afternoon. You can also find out more about our courses at an information point scheduled between 4.00 and 6.00 pm.
