Objectives

    Cross-referencing with partner regions,
  • To support the education sector in particular and the public sector (local elected representatives) in their efforts to understand and take account of regional realities to ensure harmonious development.

Training required :
Bac + 2, in particular in Humanities, Languages, Social Sciences or equivalent diploma.

Enrolment is based on an application. If you wish to have your qualifications validated, you will be invited to attend an interview.

Programme

Organisation:

  • Face-to-face courses for students enrolled in the normal programme
  • Hybrid courses (online and face-to-face for employees, students away from home, stay-at-home mothers, etc.)

Semester 1: Fundamental courses 

  • Grammar of Creole and Nenge languages
  • Literature in the languages of French Guiana
  • French literature
  • Elements of history and anthropology
  • Festive, cultural and artistic practices of the people of French Guiana

Semester 2- Didactics LCR

  • Teaching in a multilingual environment
  • The Creole/Nenge/Hmong/Amerindian tale
  • Regional languages, cultures and new technologies
  • Practice of a regional language (Choice according to teacher availability: Creole, Nenge tongo, Hmong, Amerindian language, Mandarin) level 1 and level 2)

Internship: Three-week work placement or report, depending on student status.
