Objectives
- Teach physical, sporting and expressive activities in any educational establishment or structure;
- Leading and organising collective educational initiatives aimed at providing these activities with an educational purpose;
- To carry out an intervention activitý independently, ensuring the safetý of participants and third parties.
Target skills
Language and cross-disciplinary skills
Mastery of the written and spoken French language; mastery of a modern foreign language (English); mastery of information and communication technologies; acquisition of the methodological tools needed to succeed in one's individual project; introduction to research methodologies and issues in the field of sports and physical activity;
Disciplinary skills (in their various fields of application) :
Knowledge, understanding and mastery of the practice and didactics of Physical, Sports and Artistic Activities (PSAAs); knowledge and understanding of PSAAs in the fields of life sciences, humanities and social sciences; knowledge and ability to discuss the historical and sociological dimensions of the field; knowledge enabling intervention in different environments and for different populations; practice and training in PSAAs.
Pre-professional skills :
- Designing and organising educational programmes using sport and physical activity in educational establishments (schools, associations), in complete safety for participants, depending on the audience and its characteristics;
- Running and evaluating intervention programmes;
- Master the ethical and liability issues associated with its work;
- Participating in project management.

Compulsory 36-hour work placement in a sports association during semester 2. This work placement is offered to students in consultation with various committees, leagues and clubs in order to suggest possible partners. Each student is supervised by an internship supervisor and is monitored by a teaching supervisor. An internship report is drawn up.
