On 11 July 2023, the Direction de l'Orientation, des Stages et de l'Insertion Professionnelle held its annual meeting with entrepreneurial excellence. Seventeen students from the PEPITE (Pôle Étudiant Pour l'Innovation, le Transfert et l'Entrepreneuriat) programme in French Guiana were honoured for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit at a ceremony held in their honour.
PEPITE is an initiative designed to encourage and support young people who want to become entrepreneurs, right from the start of their university career. Obtaining this diploma is therefore a major recognition of their commitment and their ability to innovate, create and develop an entrepreneurial project.
At the end of the ceremony, the new graduates celebrated this crucial stage in their academic and entrepreneurial careers. They presented their products and projects to the audience. Another important exercise for these entrepreneurial seeds.
These new entrepreneurs are undoubtedly the ambassadors of a dynamic, innovative and forward-looking generation. We wish them every success in their future entrepreneurial ventures.
Special prizes
Special prizes were awarded by the jury to reward and highlight outstanding projects. Five graduates received these distinctions.
The "Jury's Special Prize", which rewards young people for their initiative in acquiring the equipment they need to launch their project, was awarded to :

These prizes, worth between €2,000 and €5,000 for each winner, were awarded in recognition of the quality, innovation and potential of their projects. More than just a monetary reward, this gesture shows the confidence and support of the DOSIP and the members of the jury towards these young talents. These awards represent a significant boost to the realisation and pursuit of their initiatives.
