L’Université de Guyane vous ouvre ses portes

On Thursday 23 November 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Troubiran campus of the University of French Guiana will be opening its doors for you to discover its range of courses and student services. High school students, future students, students, your future starts here!

L or our Open Day, you can discover the full range of courses on offer at the University of Guyana : bachelor's degrees, B.U.T., professional bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, preparation for teaching competitions, work-linked training or resumption of studies. Students, lecturers, teaching staff... our teams will answer all your questions!

The Open Day is an essential opportunity to plan your studies, get answers to your questions and make informed choices. It's also an opportunity to talk to lecturers, students and other members of the teaching staff to find out more about the course, the programmes, the pathways, the objectives, the job opportunities and possible further studies...

The JPO is also an opportunity to discover campus life through the many activities on offer (sport, student associations, cultural workshops, etc.) and study visits abroad.

Programme

Free admission, no registration required.

A rich programme will be on offer to the public.

Tours of the campus will take place throughout the day.

Activities will be organised throughout the day:

  • 10am to 1pm: Disability awareness activities
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: musical blind test
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: quiz on professional integration, the PEPITE programme, etc.
  • 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm: cultural workshops (film arts, drumming, dance, plastic arts, etc.)

Come and talk to the teams from our training and research departments and our student services by visiting their stand. You'll find colleagues from the IUT, the Humanities, Legal and Economic Sciences, Science and Technology and Health departments, the INSPE, the Language Resources Centre, the International Relations Office, the University Library, the Digital Department and our student services (health, student associations, student life office, career guidance and integration, etc.).
