Objectives
The aim of this preparatory year is to enable students to acquire the foundations they need to continue their studies towards a university degree in Education Sciences (DUSED) or Public Administration (DUAP).
Target skills
The aim is to provide students with fundamental knowledge of law, economics, methodology and the social sciences, to help them prepare for the DU SED or DU AP.

Admission requirements On the basis of an application in a number of cases:
- On the basis of qualifications and professional experience: level 4 candidates with professional experience in fields relevant to the desired university degree.
- Validation by VAPP (Validation des Acquis Professionnels et Personnels) commission
Programme
This course comprises 3 teaching units and a total of 200 hours.
- UE1 Fundamental learning: (Coef: 9; 12 hours CM; 20 hours TP: 20; 116 hours TD)
- Education Sciences pathway: UEP 1A: Introduction to Human and Social Sciences: (Coef: 3; 28 hours CM; 24 hours TD)
- Legal and Economic Sciences pathway: UEP 1B Introduction to Sciences: (Coef: 3; 28 hours CM; 24 hours TD)
Assessment procedures :
- Continuous assessment (CC)
- Final exam (CT)
Organisational arrangements :
- Asynchronous course 16.00-18.00
- Evening classes (face-to-face or synchronous) from 6.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
- Face-to-face classes on Saturdays from 8.00am to 1.00pm
